Getting the Message Out
A great television news clip covers our recent report on California's progress toward building a million solar roofs.
Michelle Kinman of Environment California released Building a Brighter Future – a report I wrote with her – at a press event she organized at the Sungevity headquarters in Oakland, CA inearly November. The Bay Area Fox TV affiliate KTVU was there to cover the story.
Michelle did a great job with this news conference, telling the story of how California reached the milestone of installing more than 1,000 MW of solar power this year.
Additionally, Danny Kennedy, the founder of Sungevity, was on hand to tell the story of how California’s leadership in solar energy has helped him triple the size of his Oakland office in the last year, going from 100 to 300 employees.
